Role Purpose:
To supervise water treatment operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Accountability:

Oversee daily operations of the water treatment plant & wastewater treatment ensuring operators follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.

Conduct routine inspections of water quality and treatment equipment to verify compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Assist in troubleshooting minor issues with water/ wastewater treatment processes, escalating more complex problems to the maintenance team as needed.

Supervise water treatment staff in carrying out their daily tasks, providing guidance on safety and quality protocols to maintain consistent standards.

Monitor the performance of water treatment equipment, coordinating with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance.

Document water quality test results, operational data, and any incidents to support accurate reporting and traceability.

Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety measures within the water treatment facility.

Support training initiatives for new and existing staff on water treatment protocols, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Participate & Follow up the related tasks of food safety team members

Assist in operating Process department as backup or emergency.
Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; an equivalent diploma with relevant experience may be considered.

3-5 years of experience in water treatment operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations related to water treatment processes.

Proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining water treatment equipment and systems.

Valid membership engineering.
