Water Treatment Technician

The Role
We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Technician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment equipment to ensure safe and efficient processing of wastewater in compliance with environmental regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to environmental sustainability. Responsibilities: - Operate, monitor, and maintain water and wastewater treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance. - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failures. - Collect and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. - Troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary to minimize downtime. - Maintain detailed records of operations, maintenance, and water quality data. - Collaborate with team members and report any operational issues to supervisors promptly. - Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations during all operational activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Water Treatment Technician or similar role in wastewater management. - Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and safety protocols. - Ability to operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment related to water treatment. - Familiarity with water quality testing procedures and analytical lab equipment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team. - Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to environmental safety standards. - Good communication skills and proficiency in English - Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to varying operational conditions. - Relevant certifications or licenses in water treatment or environmental management will be advantageous.
