Water Well Pump Service Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pump Service Technician to join our team. As a Pump Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of water well pumping systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair pumps and related equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and part replacement
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify pump malfunctions and determine appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support
- Assist with pump system design and installation projects
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts inventory
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Previous experience as a Pump Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of water well pump system electrician components, including single and 3 phase systems, pump panels, and soft start panels
- Proficiency in installing, programing, and troubleshooting variable frequency drives
- Familiarity with electrical measuring, metering, and monitoring instruments
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, CDL is a plus
- Experience in technical sales is a plus
