Waterproofing Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Waterproofing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and inspecting waterproofing works to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate waterproofing activities on construction sites.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Inspect substrates and ensure proper surface preparation before application.
• Monitor the installation of waterproofing systems, including membranes, coatings, sealants, and injection systems.
• Conduct quality inspections and prepare site reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Identify technical issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Maintain project documentation, inspection records, and progress reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in waterproofing or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems, materials, and application methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience with site inspections and quality control procedures.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
• Valid driving license (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
• Knowledge of international waterproofing standards and best practices.
• Certification or training related to waterproofing systems is an advantage.
