We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Waxing Expert to join our prestigious salon in the UAE. The primary purpose of this role is to provide professional, precise, and comfortable hair removal services to a diverse clientele. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, adhere to the highest hygiene and safety standards, and contribute to a relaxing salon environment. This role also involves educating clients on pre- and post-treatment care and recommending relevant retail products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Consultation & Service Delivery:

Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skin and hair types, discuss needs and preferences, and identify any contraindications before any treatment.

Perform a wide range of waxing services with precision, hygiene, and client comfort, including but not limited to full-body waxing (legs, arms, underarms, back, chest), facial waxing (eyebrows, lip, chin), and intimate waxing (Brazilian, bikini).

Educate clients on proper pre- and post-waxing care to minimize irritation, prevent ingrown hairs, and maintain smooth skin.

2. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance:

Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety in the waxing suite, ensuring all tools, equipment, and work areas are cleaned and sterilized between clients according to DHA/Municipality guidelines.

Properly handle and dispose of wax and other consumables in accordance with local health and safety regulations.

3. Sales & Client Relations:

Build and nurture strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty.

Actively and ethically upsell relevant add-on treatments (e.g., advanced facials, body scrubs) and recommend professional-grade retail products to enhance and extend treatment results, helping to meet individual and team sales targets.

Maintain accurate client records, including treatment history, product preferences, and any reactions, to ensure a personalized experience.

4. Professional Development & Teamwork:

Stay current with the latest waxing techniques, products, and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development.

Work collaboratively with reception, salon assistants, and other therapists to ensure smooth scheduling, client flow, and a positive team environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a waxing specialist or beauty therapist in a reputable salon or spa environment. Experience in the UAE or a similar market is highly preferred.

Skills:

Expertise in a wide range of waxing techniques (soft wax, hard wax, strip wax, sugaring) and familiarity with various wax types and their applications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Knowledge of Arabic, Tagalog, Russian, or other languages is a strong advantage.

Strong customer service orientation and sales/upselling ability.
