Wealth Advisor - AAF Wealth Management (Hybrid Role)

AAF Wealth Management is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Wealth Advisor to join our team in a unique advisor-to-lead transition role.

This is not your typical advisory position. You’ll partner closely with firm leadership while developing into a lead advisor—building deep client relationships, delivering holistic financial planning, and growing your own book of business over time.

What You’ll Do

This role is designed as a structured growth path, where your responsibilities expand as you develop:

Learn & Integrate

  • Partner with senior advisors to learn planning philosophy, client strategies, and service approach
  • Support client meetings, financial plan preparation, and ongoing client communication
  • Build expertise in tax-aware financial planning in collaboration with our tax professionals

Grow into a Trusted Advisor

  • Take an active role in client meetings and begin co-managing relationships
  • Develop and present planning strategies, with a strong focus on tax efficiency
  • Build relationships with clients and their families

Step into Leadership

  • Lead client relationships and meetings with confidence
  • Advise on complex planning topics including wealth transfer, charitable giving, and retirement strategies
  • Drive business development through referrals, networking, and new client acquisition

What You Bring

  • CFP® designation (required)
  • 5–7+ years of experience in wealth management or financial planning
  • Strong expertise in comprehensive financial planning (investments, retirement, estate concepts)
  • Interest in or experience with tax planning strategies (EA a plus)
  • Proven ability to build relationships and develop new business
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-starter approach
  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families (preferred)
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to long-term growth

The salary range for this position reflects a broad set of factors considered in compensation decisions, including—but not limited to—skills, experience, training, certifications, and overall business needs. The stated range has not been adjusted for geographic differentials that may apply based on the position’s location. At AAF Wealth Management, it is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions are based on each candidate’s specific background and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is $125,000 - $175,000 per year not inclusive of bonus potential.

**Please note that while this position is remote, occasional travel to client locations, corporate meetings and trainings may be required to facilitate effective collaboration and engagement implementation.
