POSITION SUMMARY

The Web Business Analyst will support Uniworld Boutique River Cruises in the migration of its consumer website from Sitecore to the PO1 (Umbraco-based) platform. This includes helping define requirements, coordinate delivery, and ensure the new platform reflects Uniworld’s luxury brand experience, personalization goals, and integration with the Longitude booking system.

Beyond the migration, the role will continue to support ongoing website enhancements, digital optimization initiatives, and alignment with TTC’s shared technology ecosystem. This is a hands-on role, working alongside the VP, Web Technology, Project Manager, Web developers, and Business Product Owners to provide both business analysis expertise and practical project support. The Business Analyst will balance traditional analysis duties (requirements, documentation, testing) with project coordination tasks (communications, budget tracking, reporting).

The role requires someone with a can-do attitude, who is comfortable working flexibly across tasks and teams, ensuring momentum is maintained and colleagues are supported throughout the delivery lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


1: Project Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate web-related initiatives across internal Uniworld stakeholders (marketing, eCommerce, content, and IT) and external partners.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for project communications, budget tracking, and reporting.
  • Track Jira tickets and release milestones for Uniworld.com and related systems.
  • Assist in drafting and distributing clear communications to stakeholders on project progress and key messages.
  • Support the Project Manager with coordination tasks as required.
  • Support the VP, Web Technology in managing project timelines, dependencies, and post-launch optimization priorities.

2: Requirements & Documentation

  • Support stakeholders in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements as required.
  • Assist with creating artefacts such as process maps, call flows, and user stories to support delivery.
  • Document functional and technical requirements for web features such as personalization, GA4 event tracking, offers, and cruise add-ons.
  • Provide documentation support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring outputs are clear and usable.
  • Map integrations between Uniworld’s website, the cruise reservation system, and TTC’s middleware/API framework.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for system requirements.
  • Ensure that the delivered solution aligns with brand requirements.

3: Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Assist with planning and preparation for system testing and UAT as required.
  • Support execution of test cases, capturing results and documenting issues.
  • Provide follow-up support to Business Product Owners/Business Leads and technical teams in resolving defects.
  • Validate GA4 tags, personalization logic, and data-layer events specific to Uniworld.com

4: Team Support

  • Provide flexible support to the project team as required.
  • Partner closely with Uniworld’s web content and development teams to prioritize and execute enhancements through Jira.
  • Act as a versatile resource, stepping into different activities to maintain project momentum.
  • Assist colleagues by taking on ad-hoc tasks that enable delivery to stay on track.
  • Assist with change management, user training, and adoption of the new systems.
  • Provide post-implementation support, ensuring the solution continues to meet evolving business needs.

5: Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support engagement with business and technical Stakeholders to ensure requirements and outcomes are clearly understood.
  • Assist in facilitating communication between teams, helping to bridge business and technical perspectives.
  • Contribute to building strong, collaborative relationships across TTC Tech and business stakeholders.

Future Responsibilities (Post-Migration)

  • Support ongoing Uniworld.com enhancements, new feature rollouts, and personalization initiatives.
  • Manage the web team’s Jira backlog, ensuring requirements are clear and prioritized.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

  • At least three years’ experience working as a Business Analyst in IT on web and eCommerce projects.
  • Hands-on experience supporting project delivery, including comms, reporting, and budget tracking.
  • Skilled in documenting business requirements (e.g. journey maps, user personas, user stories).
  • Experience with both Sitecore and Umbraco CMS is preferable.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project tools to manage digital projects.
  • Experience with River Cruise advantageous.
  • Exposure to system testing and UAT processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support different team members as needed.

  • Work Location: Hybrid (office & remote)
  • Travel: Occasional international travel may be required.
  • Other: This role is global in nature and requires working hours to be structured around collaboration with teams in different time zones.
