Web Content Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Set up and test internet products online and promo codes in support of marketing initiatives.
• Follow established testing procedures for new functionality and features of the websites.
• Maintain quality and integrity of all consumer websites.
• Adhere to schedule for timely launch of new products and book launches.
• Edit text content for online relevancy.
• Coordinate with other departments (ERP System Team, Internet Imaging, etc.) to ensure successful internet launches.
• Interacts with Merchandising and Marketing departments to ensure that products are set up correctly.
• Work with Customer Service and other groups to resolve customer, product or functionality issues.
• Work with and/or train internal customers on the functionality of the websites.
• Audit sites for accuracy.
• Back up team members on projects, books, and issues as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Education is required.
• PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with online shopping and navigating websites.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately enter and verify data into systems.
• Ability to think analytically and logically to support complex system setup to meet business/marketing and sales needs.
• Must be able to independently manage multiple priorities and projects in a stressful, deadline-driven environment.
• Must be able to accommodate last minute changes.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work in person Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with the possibility of last-minute over time to occasionally include Saturdays if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
