Web Designer

Overview

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to design and improve our company’s online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for visual design, a solid understanding of computer animation and turning ideas into responsive, functional web pages. This is not a full- time position; requires a 1099.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing websites and web pages.

• Collaborate with developer to maintain website design.

• Ensure designs are optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO.

• Maintain brand consistency across all web pages and digital platforms.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve design decisions.

• Stay up-to-date with current web design trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Web Designer or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.

• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

• Excellent sense of layout, color theory, and typography.

• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with animation or motion graphics.

• Understanding of UX/UI design principles and accessibility standards.

• Ability to interpret analytics and user feedback to improve design.
