Web Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling, user-friendly websites that align with our brand identity and business goals. This role requires a strong foundation in digital design, UX/UI principles, and front-end development, along with the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver engaging digital experiences. The Web Designer will work on a variety of projects, including e-commerce platforms, corporate websites, and marketing campaigns, utilizing a broad skill set that spans graphic design, interaction design, and web development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites with an emphasis on visual design, usability, and web accessibility standards.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Develop engaging motion graphics and animations using tools such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate to enhance user experience.
• Implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Bootstrap to ensure seamless functionality across devices.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate designs into content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or custom platforms utilizing PHP, MySQL, or other backend technologies.
• Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) and analyze web traffic data using tools like Google Analytics and Google Analytics 360 to improve performance.
• Maintain existing websites through regular updates, troubleshooting, and implementing new features based on user research and analytics insights.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in web accessibility standards and usability principles for all digital products.
• Stay current with industry trends in digital marketing, UI/UX design, and emerging web technologies to continually enhance project quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in web design, including creating visually appealing layouts with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar graphic design software.
• Strong understanding of front-end development languages: HTML, CSS (including SCSS/SASS), and basic knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal; experience with plugins, themes, and customization is preferred.
• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Balsamiq, Axure, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, web analytics (Google Analytics), and digital marketing strategies.
• Experience with graphic animation tools like Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of usability principles, information architecture, and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
