This hybrid role requires expertise in web design, UI/UX principles, and website quality assurance. You will design intuitive, high-performing web interfaces and rigorously test them for functionality, usability, and responsiveness. Working closely with our marketing, development, and QA teams, you will ensure that every MAGAS web experience meets global design and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Web Designing
- Design visually engaging, responsive, and user-friendly web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional front-end code with pixel-perfect accuracy.
- Create and maintain prototypes, mockups, and interactive designs using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device consistency, implementing modern CSS techniques and responsive layouts.
- Incorporate SEO-friendly HTML structure, semantic markup, and meta tags to enhance visibility.
- Collaborate with developers and content teams to implement new features, maintain consistency, and troubleshoot design issues.
- Maintain a design system, style guides, and documentation for reusable UI components.
B. Web Testing
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications and websites.

- Conduct functional, usability, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure quality.
- Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and platform compatibility testing, validating CSS and HTML rendering.
- Test headless applications by verifying API responses, front-end rendering, and content integration through decoupled systems.
- Monitor website and headless application performance and user analytics to identify areas for UI/UX improvement.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Bugzilla.
- Validate that front-end implementation matches approved design mockups with pixel accuracy.
- Test loading times, responsiveness, and interactive elements, ensuring optimal user experience.
- Conduct pre-release and post-release testing to verify changes and bug fixes.
- Ensure that semantic HTML, CSS, and JS follow best practices for performance, accessibility, and SEO compliance.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and verify fixes in subsequent releases.
- Recommend enhancements for design, interactivity, speed, and overall usability.
- Stay updated on latest web technologies, headless CMS platforms, testing methodologies, and accessibility standards.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in web design and/or website QA.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap or similar).
- Experience with design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, TestRail, or Lighthouse.
- Working knowledge of bug tracking platforms (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, layout balance, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or CMS-based environments.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and version control (Git).
- Certification in UI/UX Design or Software Testing (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) is an advantage.
- Exposure to mobile-first design and testing practices.
