Web Designer & Developer for Cybersecurity Company (WordPress, Elementor, Buddy Boss), Full-time, Remote

Cyberkraft is a cybersecurity training company who specializes in training individuals, corporate teams, and government organizations. We are a Veteran-Owned Small Business who is rapidly growing and in need of a full time web designer and developer.

The applicant needs to have strong technical knowledge of WordPress Elementor websites and be able to manage plug-ins, identify problems, manage backups, make regular content and product updates, and keep the site running smoothly. We have a strong brand and website style established at this point. We need someone who understands the fickle nature of WordPress and can help with regular maintenance, updates, and deal with issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and update WordPress website built with Elementor and Buddy Boss.
• Troubleshoot and resolve site issues like styling inconsistencies, plugin conflicts, hosting issues, and caching problems with Cloudflare
• Add course catalog and products
• Ensure regular backups occur and oversee plugin and Wordpress updates
• Make regular updates to product and course content on the website
• Build and design new landing pages that convert while staying on brand
• Integrate forms and workflows with Go High Level and Hubspot
• Ensure website speed, security, and performance best practices are met.
• Maintain a consistent, professional, and modern brand design
• Make regular updates to product and course content on the webpage
• Collaborate with leadership to make changes to the site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) working with WordPress, Elementor, and BuddyBoss
• Strong understanding of web design, UX/UI best practices, and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in a remote team environment which will require regular team meetings with company leadership
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Experience with Cloudflare, site backups, and performance optimization
• Knowledge of SEO is a major plus.
• A creative eye for professional, branded design.
• Ability to make course graphics in Photoshop.
• Excellent communication and time management skills. Most of our team discussion is through Slack or Zoom calls.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and PHP for custom tweaks
• Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier. We currently use Zapier for one of our biggest campaigns.
• Basic knowledge of how to keep a website secure
• US-based residence, preferably Eastern Time Zone.

Nice to Have

• SEO Knowledge for website, familiarity with SEO tools like SERPbooks
• Experience with print design and photo editing (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) - while not the main role of this position, we regularly need flyers, banners, and other print products

Position Details

• Full Time Remote
• Regular working hours Monday-Friday, flexible arrangements are available but you would need to be available for regular meetings with leadership.
• Salary: $45,000-$65,000 + benefits (health insurance, paid time off, etc)
