Web designer & developer (Wordpress)

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Web Designer & Developer with expertise in WordPress and strong front-end development skills in React. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creative design abilities and technical development expertise, capable of building visually stunning, user-friendly, and high-performing websites and web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using WordPress (themes, plugins, customizations).

Build and enhance front-end applications using React.js for dynamic and interactive user experiences.

Translate UI/UX wireframes and prototypes into high-quality, functional code.

Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile responsiveness.

Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and accessibility.

Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless digital products.

Troubleshoot, debug, and implement website enhancements as needed.

Stay updated with industry trends, modern frameworks, and best practices in design and development.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Web Designer/Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.

Hands-on expertise in WordPress (custom themes, plugins, page builders, and CMS management).

Strong proficiency in React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and related front-end tools.

Understanding of REST APIs and integration between WordPress and React-based applications.

Knowledge of UI/UX principles and ability to translate designs into functional interfaces.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and modern development workflows.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with Next.js or other modern React frameworks.

Familiarity with headless WordPress (decoupled architecture).

Knowledge of custom backend adjustments.

Understanding of SEO optimization and web analytics.

Experience with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
