Job Summary:
The Web Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites. The role involves designing layouts, graphics, and interactive elements that align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop website layouts, graphics, and navigation structure.
- Create responsive web designs compatible with various devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with developers, marketing, and content teams to deliver engaging web pages.
- Ensure websites meet brand standards and optimize for performance and usability.
- Use tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva to design mockups and prototypes.
- Update existing websites with new designs and features as required.
- Stay up to date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Ensure SEO-friendly and accessible web designs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Web Designer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (preferred).
- Strong command of design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, or Figma.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
- Attention to detail and creativity in visual aesthetics.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
- Experience with animation tools or motion design.
- Basic understanding of SEO and website optimization.
