About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and skilled Web Designer / Web Developer to join our dynamic team at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran (Mohali Campus). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the college’s websites, portals, and digital platforms to enhance online presence and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites.
• Collaborate with departments to update academic content, events, and announcements.
• Ensure websites are optimized for performance, SEO, and mobile compatibility.
• Manage website security, backups, and regular maintenance activities.
• Develop new features and functionalities as per institutional needs.
• Maintain consistency in design, branding, and overall user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Understanding of SEO, website analytics, and responsive design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the education sector or academic website development.
• Familiarity with APIs, LMS integrations, and online admission portals.
• Basic understanding of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
