What You’ll Be Doing
We’re looking for a creative, resourceful Web Designer/Developer hybrid who lives and breathes WordPress. In this role, you’ll:

• Design and build sharp, user-friendly websites in WordPress (we love Bricks, but any solid builder experience works - experience with custom themes and plugins is a plus).
• Customize and troubleshoot without plugin bloat — connect APIs, fix issues, and build custom UI elements using JS and CSS.
• Use JavaScript to add functionality and interactive elements where needed.
• Think SEO, accessibility, performance, and conversions as you design and develop.
• Write or refine content (using AI as a starting point).
• Provide ongoing support to existing clients: small updates (logo swaps, text changes), bug fixes, troubleshooting, landing page builds, hosting migrations, and hosting/domain/DNS management, and more.
• Handle launches — hosting, DNS, email, CRM integrations, the works.
• Meet with clients during onboarding to strategize and offer solutions.
• Juggle multiple projects and be able to take a project from the very start to finish (ideation/strategy to launch) with fast turnarounds and high standards.

Bonus points: experience creating smooth web animations (CSS transitions, JS animation libraries, etc.).

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of web design + WordPress development experience (agency background a plus).
• Strong eye for design and a portfolio of sites you’ve built.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS (and basic PHP).
• Experience with page builders like Bricks or similar.
• SEO knowledge and familiarity with accessibility standards.
• Familiar with hosting, domains/DNS, and third-party integrations.
• Great communicator, organized, and able to handle tight deadlines and being flexible with requirements.
• Enjoys working directly with clients and thinking on your feet.
• Wants to grow with a small but expanding team and become a key player.
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SE Ranking, Looker Studio, Screaming Frog, Shopify (and other website platforms) is a plus.
