Web Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, user-friendly websites and web applications.
• Front-End Development: Work on the layout, user interface, and visual elements of the website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Wordpress and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Back-End Development: Develop server-side components, databases, and APIs to ensure the site runs efficiently and integrates smoothly with third-party services (e.g., IDX/MLS integration for real estate listings).
• Database Management: Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to manage property listings, user data, and lead information.
• SEO Optimization: Ensure that websites are optimized for search engines to improve organic rankings and user engagement.
• Mobile Optimization: Ensure the website is mobile-responsive and provides a seamless experience on all devices.
• Testing and Debugging: Perform regular testing (QA) to identify issues and bugs, and fix them in a timely manner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to ensure website features meet business needs and improve user engagement.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize website speed, performance, and security, using best practices to ensure a fast, smooth, and secure browsing experience.
• CMS Management: Work with Content Management Systems (WordPress, Wix, etc.) and custom-built CMS for easy content updates.
• Monitoring and Analytics: Implement tracking systems (Google Analytics, etc.) to monitor website traffic and user interactions, analyzing data to improve performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest web technologies and best practices to ensure the website remains modern and competitive in the real estate market.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects (real estate-related projects preferred but not required).
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Solid experience with back-end technologies: PHP, Node.js, Python, or similar.
• Experience working with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control tools, especially Git/GitHub.
• Knowledge of real estate website features such as IDX/MLS integration and property listing management is a plus.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, or similar.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and how they apply to website development.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow best development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical teams.
• A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and tools.
