Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and motivated Web Developer to join our growing development team. You'll be working across both frontend and backend technologies, helping us build and maintain modern websites, platforms, and applications. This is a great opportunity for a developer early in their career who wants to deepen their skills in PHP, WordPress, React, Next.js, and Python, while working on exciting, fast-paced projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins using PHP
• Optimize WordPress websites for performance, SEO, and security
• Develop responsive, pixel-perfect UI components using React and Next.js
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to turn ideas into functional features
• Work on backend development using PHP and Python
• Integrate third-party services and APIs (RESTful)
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in both frontend and backend code
• Participate in code reviews and team brainstorming sessions
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in web development

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience
• 1–2 years of professional experience in web development
• Proficient in PHP and WordPress development (themes & plugins)
• Familiarity with React and Next.js
• Working knowledge of Python for backend scripting or automation
• Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Knowledge of performance, SEO, and web security best practices
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have)

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
• Familiarity with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other WordPress site builders
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows and deployment tools
• Exposure to Docker, AWS, or modern DevOps practices
• Experience with testing frameworks and browser debugging tools
