Web Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer with strong expertise in custom coding, theme development, and plugin customization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and optimizing WordPress websites from scratch, including developing custom functionalities,
integrating APIs, and crafting visually appealing user interfaces. Proficiency in multiple page builders and the ability to create custom HTML/CSS layouts is essential. This role requires both creative and technical problem-solving skills to deliver pixel-perfect, high-performance web experiences.

Additionally, experience with other CMS platforms such as Webflow, Shopify, and Wix is highly desirable. The candidate should be able to adapt their development skills to these platforms for building, customizing, and visually enhancing websites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain fully custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
Customize and extend existing WordPress functionalities using hooks, filters, and shortcodes.

· Implement responsive, visually appealing layouts using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and JavaScript.

· Create and style pages using multiple page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.) while ensuring clean and optimized code.

· Integrate RESTful APIs and third party services within WordPress.

· Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into functional, visually engaging websites.

· Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and adherence to SEO best practices.

· Manage hosting environments and website deployments.

· Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing WordPress sites for performance and scalability.

Required Technical Skills:

· WordPress Development (Core Focus):

· Custom Theme Development (from scratch using PHP, ACF, and SCSS).

· Plugin Development and Customization.

· In-depth knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, and REST API.

· WooCommerce setup, customization, and payment gateway integration.

· Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) configuration and dynamic content setup.

Front-End Development:

· Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).

· Proficiency in responsive design and pixel-perfect UI implementation.

· Experience with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap frameworks.

Visual & Page Builder Expertise:

· Proficient in working with multiple WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, and Bricks Builder.

· Ability to combine visual builder capabilities with custom coding for advanced functionality and styling.

· Strong sense of design, attention to detail, and visual aesthetics.

Back-End Development:

· Strong command of PHP for custom logic, database handling, and API integrations.

· Experience with MySQL database design and optimization.

· Understanding of web security, performance tuning, and caching mechanisms.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 3–5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.

· Proven experience in delivering custom WordPress solutions without reliance on pre-built templates.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.

· Experience working with Webflow, Shopify, and Wix platforms will be considered a strong plus.
