Web Developer (Adobe ColdFusion, jQuery & RESTful API)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer with hands-on experience in Adobe ColdFusion, strong proficiency in jQuery, and solid expertise in building and integrating RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic, scalable, and secure web applications while ensuring seamless API integrations and efficient front-end interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Adobe ColdFusion.
• Implement interactive and dynamic front-end functionality using jQuery and JavaScript frameworks.
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external systems.
• Work with databases (MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle) to design and optimize queries.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues across applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, Project Managers) to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure web applications follow security best practices and organizational compliance standards.
• Maintain and modernize legacy ColdFusion applications while applying best coding practices.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Web Developer.
• Strong development expertise in Adobe ColdFusion and CFML (ColdFusion Markup Language).
• Proficiency in jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Hands-on experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a software house or enterprise-level projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and deployment environments.
• Understanding of modern frameworks for front-end enhancements.

Job Timings : Remote Part Time/ Full Time (it can vary depending on the job and project nature)*
