Role: Web Developer (CMS Specialist)

We are looking for a Web Developer (CMS Specialist) to design, develop, and maintain high-performing websites and web applications using platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, and Webflow. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across front-end and back-end, can customize themes and plugins, and understands how to ship secure, fast, and user-focused digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using CMS platforms (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, etc.).
• Build and customize themes, templates, and plugins to match project requirements and brand guidelines.
• Ensure all websites are fully responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for SEO, performance, and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and test websites to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and project managers to deliver seamless end-to-end web solutions.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, analytics, and payment gateways where required.
• Implement and maintain website security best practices, perform regular updates, and resolve vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical support, documentation, and light training to non-technical stakeholders when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CMS Web Developer, WordPress Developer, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Hands-on experience with one or more major CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).
• Familiarity with MySQL databases and basic server/hosting management (cPanel, backups, staging).
• Experience with on-page SEO principles, site speed optimization, and core web vitals.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, grid systems, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and code quality practices (clean, maintainable, well-structured code).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced agency environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Knowledge of Laravel or other PHP frameworks for custom features and integrations.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento) including checkout and payment integrations.
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices and ability to work from Figma or similar design tools.
