WEB DEVELOPER & DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

REPORTS TO: Christine Brenner, Head of Growth Marketing & Strategic Partnerships

LOCATION: Preference for WA State candidates. Remote applicants will be considered.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Web Developer & Digital Marketing Coordinator is our "marketing engineer"—the technical problem-solver who ensures our digital ecosystem runs smoothly so our creative and strategic teams can focus on what they do best. This role bridges website development, marketing automation, SEO implementation, and digital strategy execution. You'll wear many hats: developer, optimizer, troubleshooter, data analyst, and innovation partner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Website Development & Technical Optimization

  • Execute day-to-day website updates, development projects, and ongoing technical optimization
  • Implement SEO strategies and monitor site performance for continuous improvement
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate solutions efficiently
  • Maintain site speed, functionality, and user experience standards
  • Observe and identify
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to hosting, caching, or integrations, escalating larger items as needed.
  • Create and manage ticket system for site issues and strategic site changes

Marketing Technology & Automation

  • Build and optimize marketing automation workflows and integrations
  • Ensure seamless data flow between marketing platforms and tools
  • Problem-solve technical challenges across the digital marketing stack
  • Implement tracking, analytics, and reporting systems

Digital Strategy Support

  • Provide technical execution support for digital marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Translate strategic objectives into technical implementation
  • Collaborate with growth marketing lead on website conversion optimization
  • Support product review strategy implementation and management

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with creative and growth teams to bring digital initiatives to life
  • Communicate technical concepts in accessible language to non-technical team members
  • Participate in marketing team meetings and strategic planning
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and innovative solutions
  • Collaborate and troubleshoot larger development issues with our external agency as needed
  • Partner with our external web agency on large-scale projects, site migrations, or troubleshooting.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, or similar)
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and implementation
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and integrations
  • Basic understanding of analytics platforms (Google Analytics, etc.)

Professional Experience

  • 2+ years in web development, digital marketing, or related technical role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues independently
  • Track record of translating business needs into technical solutions

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
