Web Developer Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain real-world experience building and maintaining modern web applications. You will work closely with the development team to support front-end and back-end tasks, improve website performance, and contribute to new feature development.

Key Responsibilities1. Front-End Development

• Assist in developing responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React/Vue/etc., based on company stack).
• Support UI/UX improvements and implement design mockups.
• Optimize website performance and loading speed.

2. Back-End Development

• Work with server-side languages such as PHP, Node.js, or Laravel (depending on the project).
• Assist in writing clean, secure, and efficient backend code.
• Support database operations using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Firebase.

3. Testing & Debugging

• Identify, fix, and document bugs or issues.
• Participate in QA testing to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Maintain version control using Git/GitHub.

4. Collaboration

• Work closely with designers, developers, and project managers.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Assist in deploying and maintaining web applications.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with at least one framework (React, Vue, Angular) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of backend programming (PHP, Laravel, Node.js, or any equivalent).
• Understanding of databases and REST APIs.
• Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields.
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Knowledge of Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or other UI frameworks.
• Exposure to deployment tools or platforms (cPanel, Firebase Hosting, Netlify, etc.).
• A portfolio, GitHub profile, or sample projects is highly preferred.
