Job Title: Web Developer (Night Shift)
Job Type: Onsite, Full-Time
Location: Gulberg Greens, Islamabad
Working Hours: 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM (Night Shift)
Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Overview:

As a Web Developer at Hashtag Media, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing high-quality websites across multiple platforms, including WordPress and Webflow. The role involves developing custom WordPress websites, creating pixel-perfect Webflow sites from Figma designs, and ensuring seamless user experiences through clean, scalable code and modern website builders.

Key Responsibilities:

Custom WordPress Development:

• Create fully customized WordPress websites from scratch using custom themes and templates designed to meet each client’s exact needs and branding standards.
• Develop, enhance, and integrate plugins to implement client-specific functionality and ensure seamless user experience.

Webflow Development & UI Implementation

• Build pixel-perfect websites using Webflow with a strong focus on design accuracy, responsiveness, and performance.
• Design attractive, user-friendly layouts in Figma and translate them into fully functional Webflow websites.

Website Design & Builders:

• Create and redesign responsive, user-friendly websites using tools like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and other popular builders while maintaining clean and scalable code.

Page Speed Optimization:

• Conduct performance audits and implement optimization techniques (e.g., image compression, lazy loading, caching, and script optimization) to improve load times and overall site performance.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

• Utilize tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTMetrix, and Pingdom to monitor and enhance performance metrics.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with SEO, back-end, and design teams to ensure all web pages are visually appealing, optimized, and technically sound.

Ongoing Improvements:

• Regularly update, maintain, and enhance websites to align with modern performance trends, user expectations, and SEO best practices.

Cross-Platform Compatibility:

• Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and fully compatible across browsers and devices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing and delivering high-quality websites using WordPress and Webflow.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, animations, and modern UI/UX principles.
• Strong skills in creating attractive layouts and mockups using Figma.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into responsive Webflow websites.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
• Hands on experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in building and designing websites using Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or similar builders.
• Experience in Page Speed Optimization and implementing caching and manual performance techniques.
• Familiarity with Shopify optimizations and customizations is a plus.
• Expertise with Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTMetrix, Pingdom, and related tools.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
