Role Overview

The Web Full Stack Developer – Mid Management is responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and optimization of web-based platforms supporting event operations, including ticketing systems, registration portals, event websites, accreditation platforms, CRM integrations, and digital engagement tools.

This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring high-performing, secure, and scalable web applications that enhance attendee experience and operational efficiency across live, hybrid, and virtual events.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications for event websites, ticketing systems, and registration platforms.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Develop robust back-end services using Node.js, .NET, Python, PHP, or similar technologies.
• Integrate APIs with third-party platforms including payment gateways, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and mobile apps.

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, digital teams, and event technology stakeholders.
• Participate in architecture decisions and technology stack planning.

Event Platform Optimization

• Ensure performance optimization for high-traffic environments during live events.
• Implement caching, load balancing, and scalability strategies.
• Troubleshoot issues during critical event timelines and provide rapid resolutions.

Security & Compliance

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and cybersecurity standards.
• Conduct security testing and vulnerability assessments.

Deployment & DevOps

• Manage CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Oversee cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Monitor server performance and ensure system uptime during live events.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with event operations, marketing, ticketing, and production teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support digital innovation initiatives for immersive event experiences.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in full stack web development.
• 1–3 years in a supervisory or mid-management role.
• Strong proficiency in:
• Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue
• Backend: Node.js, .NET, PHP, or Python
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in events, exhibitions, sports tournaments, or entertainment platforms.
• Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and high-volume registration platforms.
• Knowledge of real-time data processing and live event analytics dashboards.
• Experience with mobile-first and progressive web applications.
