Job Overview

We are a growing digital agency looking for a Web Project Manager who can take ownership of website projects and ensure tasks are fully completed with quality.

We work primarily with WordPress websites and overseas developers. Many tasks require follow-up, clarification, and QA to move from “mostly done” to actually done. This role exists to close that gap.

This is not a passive coordinator role. We are looking for someone who can think critically, manage developers, enforce timelines, and build better systems over time.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Managing WordPress website projects from task creation through completion
  • Breaking down high-level requests into clear, actionable tasks
  • Assigning tasks to developers and following up until they are fully completed
  • Quality-checking work for accuracy, responsiveness, and functionality
  • Managing timelines, due dates, and priorities in ClickUp
  • Communicating clearly with internal team members and developers
  • Catching missed details and incomplete work before it reaches clients
  • Supporting basic SEO implementation (on-page SEO, site structure, best practices)
  • Improving internal workflows and project management systems over time
  • Ensuring projects move forward without constant oversight from leadership

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing web or technical projects
  • Strong understanding of WordPress (themes, plugins, page builders)
  • Experience working with developers or technical teams
  • Ability to QA websites independently and spot issues
  • Familiarity with ClickUp or similar project management tools
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Clear written communication skills

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Advanced WordPress or web development experience
  • SEO experience beyond basic on-page optimization
  • Agency experience
  • Experience building SOPs or internal systems
  • Leadership or team management experience

This Role Is a Good Fit If You

  • Take ownership and don’t wait to be told what to do next
  • Are comfortable following up and holding developers accountable
  • Enjoy organizing chaos into structure
  • Care about finishing work properly, not just checking boxes
  • Want to grow into a senior project management or operations role

This Role Is Not a Good Fit If You

  • Only do tasks exactly as assigned without critical thinking
  • Avoid follow-ups or accountability
  • Need step-by-step instructions for every task
  • Prefer working independently without managing others

Compensation & Growth

  • $17–$30 per hour, depending on experience
  • Performance-based growth opportunities
  • Potential to grow into a senior project management or operations role

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $35,152.00 - $62,400.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Application Question(s):

  • A developer tells you a task is complete, but you notice missing details or issues. What steps do you take?
  • Which project management tools have you used?
  • How do you handle tasks that stall or are repeatedly delayed?

Experience:

  • WordPress: 1 year (Required)
  • Developer Management: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: In person
