Position Overview
Phantom Fireworks, America’s largest consumer fireworks retailer, is seeking a Website
Administrator to help maintain the functionality, content, and technical performance of
our websites and digital platforms. This role will assist in ensuring our websites are fully
operational, up-to-date, visually aligned with brand standards, and optimized for user
experience.
The Website Administrator will work closely with our internal marketing, IT, and
advertising teams and report directly to the Head of Digital. This is a hands-on role ideal
for someone who thrives on organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving in a
fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of Phantom Fireworks’ websites, ensuring uptime, accuracy, and technical health
- Update and manage all site content, including homepage banners, product pages, store location info, and promotions
- Regularly audit the site for broken links, outdated content, and performance issues
- Maintain and optimize site navigation structure, tags, and metadata for SEO and user experience
- Troubleshoot and coordinate fixes for any website issues with internal IT or external vendors
- Manage our CMS (e.g., Contentful, Shopify, or custom) for publishing and organizing website content
- Implement and maintain website templates, components, and reusable content blocks
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and visual consistency across all platforms
- Assist with the integration and management of digital signage content across TVs, tablets, and in-store kiosks
- Generate and analyze reports using Shopify, Google Analytics, and CMS metrics to track content performance and user behavior
- Assist with email marketing campaigns by managing content, segment lists, and clickthrough tracking
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience managing and administering websites, preferably in a retail or consumer-facing environment
- Strong proficiency with content management systems (CMS) such as Contentful, Shopify, or WordPress
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS, image optimization, and web standards
- Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, structured content, and metadata best practices
- Experience with Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, and other performance monitoring tools
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
