Overview of Responsibility: Maintains and executes MSGCU’s strategic website roadmap, ensuring site structure, usability, and strong organic search rankings. Manages website content development to align with brand standards and corporate goals.

  • Website Maintenance and Development: Serves as a subject matter expert for MSGCU’s website presence, maintains the Content Management System (CMS), and performs day-to-day site maintenance. Evaluates and recommends emerging web technologies that enhance efficiency and ensure effective use of resources. Executes the website roadmap by completing components on a multi-year schedule to support long-term marketing strategy. Leads website research efforts to assess usability, design, site architecture, and competitive analyses. Works with stakeholders for input, provides direction relating to the digital experience, and aligns deliverables with objectives, member experience, and brand standards.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implements SEO strategies to improve MSGCU’s organic search rankings, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical audits, and link building. Uses tools to monitor website performance, diagnose SEO issues, and recommend optimization tactics to drive member acquisition and engagement through improved visibility of digital channels.
  • Digital Content Creation: Develops, designs, publishes, and maintains digital content across various formats, including web pages, blogs, infographics, videos, and financial education. Contributes to marketing planning efforts. Designs, creates and optimizes customized website copy, landing pages, and micro-sites for corporate projects or campaigns.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or related field required; and
  • 3 years of website design experience, including:
  • Website maintenance including basic HTML, design knowledge, and SEO principles
  • Content writing and editing, including keyword research
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills, with preference to Google Analytics and SEO reporting
  • Managing third-party providers such as web hosting providers, content management providers, developers, and creative agencies
  • Google Analytics (GA4) certification highly desired.
  • Preferred experience includes creating and editing video content and working with financial services products. Proficiency in website development (CMS, landing pages, microsites, templates, style sheets, and CSS), Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.), and Microsoft Office software.

Working Conditions:

  • Office and branch location environment with little discomfort from noise, extreme temperature, dust, or other factors.
  • Occasionally required to travel throughout MSGCU's service area as business needs require. Occasional travel to trade activities and/or vendor conferences.
  • Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, such as robbery. Receives detailed instructions and security procedures on an annual basis to minimize risk.
  • This work involves sitting most of the time with brief periods of walking or standing and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual salary begins at $62,000
  • Medical, dental and vision on your first day! You can choose the most generous Health Savings Account (HSA)-eligible medical plan with no monthly premium for you (and your family)
  • If you are at least 21 years old, you will receive a 3% contribution from MSGCU, and a 100% match for the next 7% you contribute to your 401(k)
  • You will enjoy 12 paid holidays and up to 120 hours of PTO your first year of service (pro-rated based on start date)
