Website Designer and Developer and Promoter

Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital design and front-end development, with a keen eye for aesthetics and user experience. You will be responsible for designing engaging and responsive websites that meet our clients' needs while ensuring usability and accessibility. This role requires collaboration with developers, content creators, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Duties

• Design visually appealing and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal viewing across various devices.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate designs into functional websites using frameworks such as Angular and React.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve website functionality.
• Maintain website content using content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint.
• Optimise websites for search engines (SEO) to enhance visibility and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.
• Manage website maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and security.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, Sketch, and InVision.
• Strong understanding of front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, Python, Node.js, and SQL.
• Experience with frameworks like Bootstrap and libraries such as Redux.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles and interaction design concepts.
• Knowledge of usability principles and information architecture best practices.
• Ability to perform data analysis using tools like Google Analytics for informed decision-making.
• Experience in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
