Website Designer and SEO Specialist

We are looking for the Website Designer & SEO Specialist for our UK based client in Islamabad. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the full lifecycle of website development, maintenance, and performance optimisation. This role requires a strong combination of visual design, user experience (UX/UI) principles, and technical search engine optimisation (SEO) expertise to create high-performing, accessible, and conversion-focused digital properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design, and implement responsive, mobile-first website layouts, landing pages, and user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and prioritise exceptional user experience (UX).
• Translate design mockups into functional, clean, and valid HTML, CSS (including frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap), and JavaScript/React/Angular code.
• Manage and maintain website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, custom CMS), including plugin updates, security monitoring, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Continuously optimise websites load times, rendering speed, and overall technical health.
• Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve issues related to crawling, indexing, structured data, schema markup, and site architecture.
• Optimise all website content, meta descriptions, title tags, image alt text, and internal linking structures to improve search rankings for target keywords.
• Execute comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and map content strategy to key phases of the customer journey.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms, providing actionable insights for growth.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design and implement A/B tests on page layouts, calls-to-action (CTAs), and form placements to maximise conversion rates (e.g., lead capture, purchases).
• Ensure all designs and implemented code meet accessibility standards (WCAG guidelines) to broaden reach and compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience (3+ years preferred) in both professional web design/development and hands-on SEO strategy execution.
• Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) is a plus.
• Deep understanding of WordPress or other CMS systems.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) for creating wireframes and mockups.
• Expert knowledge of core SEO concepts, ranking factors, algorithm updates, and proficiency with industry-standard SEO tools (e.g., Moz, Semrush, Ahrefs).
