Website Designer & Developer

We’re hiring a Website Designer & Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of custom WordPress sites across our client portfolio. This role begins part-time (10–20 hours/week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. You’ll work directly with our founder & marketing team to translate brand strategy into seamless, high-quality digital experiences.

You’ll need to move confidently between design and dev tasks, prioritize clean builds over shortcuts, and take pride in scalable, strategic implementation. You should love solving design puzzles, value performance as much as aesthetics, and be fluent in building for both marketing and measurement.

Key Responsibilities:

Design + UX

• Translate brand strategy, visual identities, and wireframes into compelling, responsive site designs
• Create custom page layouts in WordPress (Elementor), Webflow, and Shopify
• Ensure designs follow UX best practices and are conversion-optimized for service-based businesses

Development

• Build, QA, and launch responsive websites and landing pages
• Implement performance best practices (speed optimization, lazy loading, clean code)
• Troubleshoot bugs, backend issues, and plugin conflicts
• Set up and configure 3rd-party integrations (email, CRMs, analytics, payment gateways)

Funnel Support + Tracking

• Support setup of tracking pixels (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn), GTM containers, and GA4
• Ensure consistent handoff between web, paid media, and analytics teams

Maintenance + Iteration

• Manage ongoing site updates, content uploads, and backups
• Monitor uptime and resolve occasional tech issues
• Suggest improvements based on new tools, platform updates, or conversion data

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years experience in website design and development
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and third-party integrations
• Proficiency in WordPress/Elementor
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, all-remote environment
• Bonus: familiarity with SEO best practices, Google analytics, and Google Tag Manager
• English proficiency (written & verbal), strong communication skills, and proactive mindset
