Website Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Website Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performing websites across our brands. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both Shopify and WordPress platforms, with a strong grasp of modern front-end and back-end development practices. You’ll collaborate with UI/UX designers, content, and marketing teams to create seamless digital experiences that drive engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, high-performance websites using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify storefronts including themes, apps, and checkout flows.
• Design and develop WordPress websites, including custom themes, plugins, and API integrations.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and marketing teams to translate requirements into functional web solutions.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Integrate tracking pixels, marketing automation tools, and third-party APIs.
• Ensure website security, stability, and adherence to the latest best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across browsers, devices, and platforms.
• Use version control (Git) and follow agile development methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React.js or similar frameworks.
• Back-end: Node.js / PHP / Next.js or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
• Proven experience with Shopify theme customization and app development.
• In-depth knowledge of WordPress: custom theme & plugin development, custom post types, Gutenberg, WooCommerce.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Strong grasp of SEO best practices, page speed optimization, and technical SEO.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
• Proficiency in Git, Jira, or similar project management tools.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Headless Shopify or Headless WordPress setups.
• Knowledge of Shopify Plus and Hydrogen framework.
• WooCommerce store customization experience.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM integrations.
• Experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
