Website Support Specialist

Footbridge Media is seeking a full-time Website Support Specialist to help maintain our existing home and construction clients' websites and SEO performance.

This position would be responsible for managing the successful operation and optimization of a client's website and online marketing methods. Together, our teams work in harmony to balance active client management and ongoing website maintenance tasks.

Main Duties Include

• Completing edits, updates, or changes to websites
• Making recommendations as to search engine optimization best practices

Experience Required

• Basic HTML knowledge
• Basic CSS knowledge
• Basic SEO knowledge

Experience Desired

• Basic understanding of Google Webmaster Tools / Analytics
• Basic understanding of WordPress (for our legacy clients)
• Basic knowledge of Bootstrap CSS framework
• Familiarity with cPanel interface

Example of Responsibilities

• Uploading the images and text that a client has submitted after they complete a job.
• Creating new website content for clients using AI and best SEO practices.
• Rewriting pre-existing content as necessary for the benefit of the client's SEO strategy.
• Fulfilling basic client change requests on the website such as: Adding a new service page and adding it to the website navigation or rewriting a meta title to better reflect the key phrases a client's SEO strategy focuses on.
• Reviewing site inspection reports and making necessary corrections and suggested optimization changes to ensure optimal site performance.
• Diagnosing website issues such as: Website being down, CSS styling errors.
• Completing a website launch - uploading website files built out by our development team to a server via an FTP software.
• Connecting Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to a website.

Overall, this position is excellent for a potential hire with entry to intermediate level skillsets in general website support and maintenance.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
