Web Designer – Salon Boss Marketing

Salon Boss Marketing is a growing digital marketing agency focused on helping beauty industry professionals and brands strengthen their online presence. We are currently looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our team on a freelance basis.

This role is ideal for designers who are excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment and contribute from the ground level. You should be comfortable taking direction while also bringing your own ideas to improve design and user experience across our projects.

As part of a growing team, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and play a key role in shaping the digital presence of our clients. Strong performance may lead to future long-term opportunities within the company.

Candidates should be available to work consistently throughout the week and participate in team check-ins and project discussions as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop visually engaging, user-friendly websites
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and responsive layouts
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align branding and messaging
• Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and mobile usability
• Maintain and update existing websites as needed

Requirements:

• Experience with web design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web design best practices
• Strong eye for design, typography, and current web trends
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and think creatively

Nice to have:

• Experience with platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles
• Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

• Participating in team meetings and creative discussions
• Supporting branding and digital content initiatives
• Researching and applying new design trends

We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to gain hands-on experience, contribute to real projects, and grow alongside a developing company.

Location: St. George, Utah (primarily remote, with the possibility of occasional in-person requirements)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Freelance

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
