Weekend Bartender (Friday - Sunday)

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and reliable Bartender to join our team at the Garden Grille & Bar located inside our hotel in San Bernardino. This is a part-time weekend position (Friday through Sunday), perfect for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional guest service in a hospitality setting.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to craft memorable experiences for our guests while providing attentive, high-quality service in a relaxed and inviting environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using the POS system (Oracle Simphony).
• Provide friendly, professional service by engaging with guests and ensuring an exceptional experience throughout their visit.
• Accurately handle cash and credit transactions, including processing payments and providing correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with all food safety and handling standards.
• Monitor guest consumption to promote a safe environment and prevent over-service.
• Restock bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, to support smooth operations during busy shifts.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver seamless service during events, banquets, and private functions.

Skills

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Experience with POS systems such as Oracle Simphony, Aloha, or Micros is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a positive and professional manner.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service.
• Experience in hotel, restaurant, banquet, or similar hospitality environments preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.

Pay: $16.90 per hour
