Weekend Courier Position

Job Description

Rapid EX Transportation is seeking a responsible and dependable Weekend Medical Courier to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies by safely transporting medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmacy supplies throughout the city.

This is a permanent weekend position for someone who is punctual, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining excellent customer service.

Our couriers represent Rapid EX Transportation while serving healthcare professionals, so professionalism and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver medical lab specimens between hospitals, laboratories, and clinics
• Transport pharmacy supplies and medical materials safely and on time
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
• Maintain proper handling procedures for sensitive medical materials
• Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, and any delays
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues
• Provide professional customer service when interacting with healthcare staff

Requirements

• Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Must be comfortable driving throughout El Paso and surrounding areas
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs when necessary
• Must have a smartphone for dispatch communication and route updates
• Prior courier or delivery experience is a plus (medical courier experience preferred but not required)
