As we grow, we are building a strong caregiver team from the ground up and are looking for a dependable Weekend Lead Caregiver / Float Caregiver to help support client coverage and urgent care needs.

About the Role

This is a senior caregiver / float role designed for an experienced caregiver who is comfortable stepping into new client situations and providing reliable coverage when families need it most.

As a Weekend Lead Caregiver, you will:

• Cover caregiver call-outs and urgent weekend shifts
• Support new client starts when care is needed quickly
• Provide stability and continuity for families during the first days of care
• Assist with shadow shifts for new caregivers when needed
• Step into priority assignments as our agency grows

This role is ideal for caregivers who want consistent weekend hours and the opportunity to take on additional responsibility.

Reliable caregivers receive priority scheduling and assignments.

Quick Start Availability

Many families need care very quickly after hospital discharges or sudden changes in condition.

For this reason, we prioritize caregivers who are able to:

• Start assignments same day or next day when available
• Accept urgent weekend shifts
• Step in when a caregiver call-out occurs
• Provide stability during the first few days of care

Caregivers who demonstrate reliability and flexibility receive priority hours and assignments.

Schedule

Weekend availability is required.

Typical shifts may include:

• Friday evening coverage
• Saturday shifts
• Sunday shifts

Additional weekday hours may be available as our client base grows.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Comfortable walking into new client situations
• Calm, dependable, and professional under pressure
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to accept quick-start assignments when available
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
