Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant Jazz Club food service team! As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel valued and satisfied from the moment they arrive until their departure. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Spot On
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to sanitation and food safety standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures, to ensure guest safety
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours and special events

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus (7years or more)
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Spot On POS or Micros POS
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
• Experience in serving or host/hostess roles is desirable; culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented attitude
