Weighbridge Service Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Weigh bridge service technician experience minimum 3 years
• Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and address issues with the weighing system or processes.
• Vehicle Weighing:Operate the weighbridge to measure the gross (loaded) and tare (empty) weight of vehicles to determine the net weight of materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in operating weighbridge software or data entry systems is often required.
• Attention to Detail: Crucial for accurately recording weights and maintaining compliance.
• Communication Skills: Ability to interact with drivers and clearly communicate instructions and protocols.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain orderly records and manage administrative duties.
• Safety Focus: A commitment to safe operation and adherence to safety procedures.
• Willingness to Learn: Adaptability to new software, changing requirements, and operational procedures
• Record Keeping:Maintain accurate, detailed logs and digital records of all weighing transactions, ensuring they comply with company standards and regulations.
• Documentation:Generate and provide weight tickets or certificates to drivers and issue receipts or waybills.
• Equipment Maintenance:Inspect weighbridge equipment for accuracy and functionality, perform routine cleaning, and report any malfunctions to the relevant department.
• Compliance:Ensure vehicles do not exceed weight limits and that all operations adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
• Traffic & Safety Management:Guide drivers to the correct positions on the weighbridge, ensure safe operation of the weighbridge and surrounding areas, and monitor for unauthorized access.
• Reporting:Compile and submit daily, weekly, or monthly weight reports to management, highlighting any unresolved issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
