This Welder will be based at the Cleves location. The hours are Monday – Thursday from 3pm-1:00am - but overtime may be required.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Lead Welder, the Welder is responsible for moving between production assignments, MIG welding, and fabricating various metals for production.

Job Duties

Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job.
Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals using MIG welding processes.
Reads and comprehends blueprints and welding process specifications when necessary.
Fit up complicated but standard structures and weldments involving a considerable number of parts and details.
Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts.
Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.

Candidate Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
MIG welding experience is preferred.
Experience using measuring tools including tape measures and calipers.
Experience operating a jib crane preferred.
Ability to read and interpret routers, blueprints, drawings, and machine sketches preferred.
