Welder and Fabricator

Irving Equipment LLC is currently seeking an experienced full time Welder in the Tiffin, OH area. The position will join our team in the assembly of new crane packages welding shear plates, parts and other assorted items. Welding on mild and high strength steel, must pass certification. The position is Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Direct hire, call or stop in.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Welding assorted assemblies : shear plates, truck bodies, truck frames
• Be able to think independently and perform with a minimum level of supervision.
• Comprehend and follow designs

Job Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in mechanical assembly
• Ability to communicate with others
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions but most of the time you will be in a clean, heated shop.
• Must be able sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 75lbs+ for extended periods of time
• Any machinists background not required but great bonus
• Strong and reliable work ethic
• Provide your own basic tools, specialized tools are provided

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $30.00 per hour
