What you’ll do

• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on diverse materials, ensuring precision and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to fabricate components according to specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as oxygen torch.
• Execute pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and mechanical assembly tasks with attention to detail.
• Operate cranes and forklifts safely while moving materials around the construction site.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to ASME codes & standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience in welding, particularly MIG and TIG techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment.

Preferred qualifications

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Previous lift truck license/experience helpful, but not required.
