Welder - MIG

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic MIG Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welds on various steel trailer components, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction, manufacturing, and assembled equipment trailers. Responsibilities

• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on sheet metal, pipes, and structural components following detailed instruction.
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards.
• Operate welding equipment safely while maintaining compliance with ASME codes & standards for quality assurance.
• Conduct routine inspections of welds for defects; perform touch-ups or rework as needed to meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fabrication environments with a strong background in MIG welding techniques.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and plasma cutting equipment.
• Knowledge of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, <LOCATION> welding, and other advanced welding processes.
• Familiarity with rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication.
• Ability to operate forklifts and understand safety procedures involving cranes or rigging equipment is preferred.

Pay: $25.32 - $30.49 per hour
