Welder - TIG

Job Summary
– Immediate opening in our metal shop. Working with stainless steel. MIG and TIG of thin gauge tubing (16 ga) and sheet metal. Must be able to complete job start to finish including fitting and fabrication. Must be able to read prints and work independently. Day shift. 45 hours per week. Work done in temperature controlled building.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of metal components
• Utilize angle grinders, power tools, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to construction sites and manufacturing facilities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG welding
• Proficiency in reading blueprints with an eye for detail
• Familiarity with MIG welding
• Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
