  • The Welder is responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal parts and structures using welding techniques, ensuring strong, precise, and durable welds that meet project and quality standards.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment.

  • Perform various types of welding (MIG, TIG, Arc, Gas, etc.) depending on project requirements.

  • Prepare and assemble metal components prior to welding.

  • Inspect welds for strength, quality, and compliance with specifications.

  • Perform grinding, cutting, or finishing as required after welding.

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

  • Collaborate with supervisors, fabricators, and team members to complete projects on time

  • Record work progress and report any defects, issues, or material shortages.

  • The Fabricator is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing metal components and structures according to technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy, durability, and quality in all fabrication work.

  • Measure, mark, cut, and bend metal materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.

  • Assemble and weld parts to form complete structures or components.

  • Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, shears, grinders, and presses.

  • Perform finishing tasks, including grinding, polishing, and surface preparation.

  • Inspect fabricated parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.

  • Identify material requirements and report shortages or defects.
