Welder/Fabricator

Due to the needs of our expanding business, LNWR Heritage are looking for an experienced welder/fabricator/fitter to expand our carriage repair / overhaul team. Candidates must be enthusiastic and highly motivated; previous experience in the rail industry is preferred but not essential. The role will involve welding and fabrication work in all aspects of rolling stock repair. Additional training will be provided where necessary.

Job role requirements:

Suitable Applicant should ideally

• Have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Have relevant experience in the welding and fabrication role.
• Have some fitting experience.
• Be able to work with little supervision producing a quality bespoke product.
• Hold a current full UK driving license.
• Dual role capability (preferred but not essential).

Working Hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday (Day shifts)
• Overtime available as and when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
