Welder/Fabricator

Due to growth, we now have an opportunity for a Welding Operative / Mild Steel Fabricator to join our team.

Please note you will be required to complete a weld test if you are invited for interview.

A bit about what you’ll be doing:

• Ensure workflow of a product is to schedule
• Weld ferrous and nonferrous materials to drawing specifications
• Achieve working knowledge of EN1090 and adhere to its procedures
• Perform NDT weld tests and rectification works as and when required
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols

What we are looking for:

• Proven skilled fabricator and welding experience
• Experience of MIG welding with mild steel to a good standard
• Experience of TIG welding on stainless steel
• Ability to read 2D and 3D drawings accurately and correctly
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
• English literacy
• BSENISO9606-1 welder approval
• BSENISO15614-1 weld procedure
