As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable and skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our team.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to work within our workshop and occasionally on-site. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing steel components used in poultry housing and general agricultural systems. You will play a key part in ensuring our equipment is built to the highest standards of durability and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal components for agricultural systems.
• Perform high-quality MIG welding.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Use a variety of hand tools and workshop machinery (saws, drills, grinders, etc.).
• Carry out maintenance and repair work on existing equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the installation team to prepare systems for farm delivery.
• Ensure all work adheres to strict Health & Safety standards.

Requirements

• Essential:

◦ Solid experience in metal fabrication and MIG welding.

◦ Ability to read engineering drawings and work to precise measurements.

◦ Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive "can-do" attitude.

◦ Valid UK Driving Licence.

◦ Reliability and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team.

• Desirable:

◦ Experience in the agricultural or poultry industry.

◦ Relevant welding certifications or NVQ qualifications.

◦ Experience with workshop machinery like folders or guillotines.
