About the Role

We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our production team on a permanent day-shift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling high-quality stainless-steel products to precise specifications.

Experience within the catering, commercial kitchen, or food-service equipment sector would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• TIG welding and fabrication of stainless-steel components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Cutting, forming, grinding, and finishing metal components
• Assembly and fitting of fabricated products
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and accuracy
• Carrying out quality checks on completed work
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder / Fabricator
• Strong stainless-steel fabrication experience
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Skilled in sheet metal fabrication and finishing
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude

Desirable

• Experience within the catering equipment or food-service manufacturing sector
• Experience working with commercial kitchen fabrication
• Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications
