Welder/Fabricator

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed blueprints and schematics. Your expertise will help us produce high-quality metal structures and parts for various industrial applications. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications for fabrication and welding projects
  • Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding techniques with precision and safety compliance
  • Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape sheet metal, ductwork, pipes, and structural components
  • Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure proper fit and alignment
  • Operate rigging equipment such as cranes for lifting heavy materials safely during fabrication or assembly processes
  • Fabricate custom parts by cutting, bending, welding, soldering, and assembling components according to project requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and ASME codes & standards throughout all tasks

Skills

  • Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; experience with <LOCATION> welding preferred
  • Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment
  • Knowledge of rigging operations including crane handling for heavy lifting
  • Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, assembly processes, and manufacturing standards
  • Familiarity with schematics for electrical or mechanical systems; basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Experience working with ASME codes & standards for quality assurance in fabrication projects
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely; experience with machining or soldering is a plus
